Ten years ago in what was known as, “Star of the Sea”, primary school,
the foundations were laid for what is now LADYBIRD pre-school and daycare
centre in Moonvoy Tramore.
From what started off as just a pre-school of 20 children managed by
Helen Power is now the longest running daycare centre in Tramore town and is
unique in providing quality childcare ranging from babies of 3mths right
through to school age children up to the age of 12.
Ladybird pre-school & Daycare centre is a child-friendly, safe and
welcoming purpose built building. It was the first daycare centre to open in
Tramore all those years ago. Due to ongoing collaboration with parents
regarding their needs within the community a baby room and toddler room were
opened in 2006 with a further extension of the toddler room in 2007 due to
continued demand.
Ladybird pre-school & daycare centre continues to go the extra mile
to accommodate each and every family with opening hours of 7.30am-6.00pm Monday
to Friday. The centre also remains open for business all year round offering
easter camp, summer camp, Halloween camp activities to cater for ALL the
holiday periods throughout the year.
The centre is registered with the Waterford City Childcare Private
Providers Network and is also fully insured & approved by the Health
Service Executive.
